Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but the donuts we purchased this morning were horrible. No doubt they were leftover from yesterday and not fresh. They open at 7am on Saturdays and we arrived at 7:45a...so it's not as if we arrived late in the morning and the donuts had been sitting out all day (irony isn't lost on me).Purchased a dozen donut holes, half dozen glazed and two cream filled glazed for $14...very disappointed. To say I've had gas station donuts that tasted fresher is is a given. They tasted so bad, that I considered turning around and taking them back but I wimped out. Instead l, I went home and got tough in the mirror, kinda like Holden Caulfield. By reading the other reviews, it's apparent that we just caught them on a bad day. Was disappointing, however, because I was looking forward to put a doughy balll of glazed paradise in my mouth. Instead, I was met with disappointment....now I know how my parents, wife and kids feel.

We have been getting donuts from Charlie's for years. The best! Better get there early, though!

We got to smoothies and was full of sugar. Not joking it was like 40 % sugar.

Everything is delicious, and the setting is fantastic! Definitely worth the drive from Destin. Reasonably priced. Not busy when I visited, which was a Wednesday morning around 8:00AM (BUT it's the off- season, I'm sure it's busy busy during peak season) The lady working the truck was very helpful and pleasant, as well. Highly recommend!

8:15am, bought donuts and cinnamon twist, they were old, cold, ended up throwing them away. Very, very disappointed!!!

Woke up early for these famous donuts... my four boys and I biked over and showed up just after they were supposed to open. We're greeted with a sign they'd be back at 7:15, so we biked around waiting 30 minutes until they got back. Showed back up at 7:15 and card reader wasn't working. I didn't have cash on me Instead of offering free donuts to four hungry, excited boys we were told to wait 10 more minutes. No thanks. Donuts did look good, but could use some better, common sense customer service

Fun place to get donuts in the morning. They open at 6:30 and sell what they have. By 9:30 on most mornings, they are pretty picked over. That should tell you they are very good!

It's a must do in this area. The donuts are incredible.

Charlie's donut truck has the best donuts on 30a! But not only the donuts, when it is a hot day you can pick up some cold dip and dots

Riding bikes to get these awesome donuts is one of our family's favorite things. Just get there early before they run out.

These donuts are the best in the area! They take credit cards, but come early, once they sell what they made that's it. Maple Bacon is our favorite.

All four of us got something different and all four pastries were DELISH. Best lemon poppyseed muffin I’ve ever eaten! Also the iced coffee is 👌🏼✨

A staple of our visits to the 30A area.

Good coffee. Other customers were asking for donuts that they didn't have this morning but will have later in the week. It had rained so all the sitting was wet - no one had use a squeegee to get rid of most of the water.

Yummy donuts and a cute little area for kids to run olay and splash in the water. The donuts are a little more cakey than I like but still delish. The filled long John's was yummy (like a Bavarian donut) sprinkles were yummy but even at 730 they were out of so many options.

We arrived at 7:30 and the line was already quite long. I suggest you get there when they open, parking is very limited. I enjoyed an apple fritter, which was delicious. My son enjoyed a chocolate, sprinkled donut which was very dry. It was a very convenient breakfast but overpriced to not offer fresh donuts, perhaps they were not stored properly. Coffee was $2.50 each and chocolate milk was even more, so we opted to take our donuts to go. Since visiting we discovered that this business was started by 2 disabled veterans and we are happy to support them. We will definitely give Charlie's another try and encourage you to as well!

Get there early (especially when it’s busy) and you’ll be free to have some delicious donuts.

The donuts were good but they didn’t taste as fresh as I expected them to be. They were kind of hard. But other then that I thought they were pretty good.

Fantastic donuts!!! Probably the best I have had in the whole 30a area. Red velvet with cream cheese icing, maple bacon, all the classics too. Super friendly staff as well. This is a must go if you are anywhere near 30a.

This donut was pure heaven. My maple bacon donut was a goldilocks moment of sweet and salty, enhanced by the ambiance of 30A and Alys Beach.You deserve a Charlie's donut, accompanied by the sound of ocean waves. You need to have this memory of something sweet as the sun rises slowly over the horizon. Hands down the best donut I've had in a while.

Our last stop before heading home from the beach. They run out of popular items quickly, so get there early. Kids love it.

One of 30a's staples. As much a part of the 30a vibe as any the road itself. Can't get better than the maple bacon or sour cream cake.

YUM!!! Get here early bc they open at 630am and they close when they sell out of donuts which is typically VERY FAST. Coffee is pretty good too! Ride your bike or take a nice walk and enjoy! Fountains and big grass area for kids to play in/on. A few picnic tables to sit on but don't count on getting one if its crowded. Donut lovers unite!

Used to be one of our favs after a morning run. It seems like the quality has gone down a little over the past few years.

Standard donut fair but the truck is cool and trendy, and the fountain/park across from it is nice. I'm a tourist here but it seems like this is a pretty popular tourist spot

The Maple Bacon Doughnuts are superb! My favorite at any doughnut shop is the white cream filled Bismarck, with or without chocolate and Charlie’s did not let me down!

Charlie’s Doughnuts are amazing! We come every day while we’re in rosemary beach! Can’t wait to stop by this year! Make sure to get there at 6:30 am if you want fresh warm and delicious doughnuts!!!!!!!!!
